What is considered a dental emergency?
A dental emergency may involve the following issues or events:
- Severe toothache
- Facial trauma—damaged or lost teeth, or fractured facial bones.
- Signs of infection that may indicate an abscess (ex. fever or dental/facial pain)
If you’re suffering from any of these concerns, it is important that you contact us as soon as possible.
What can you expect during a dental emergency?
Some dental concerns may be addressed with a simple restoration. However, for a more severe case such as a fractured jaw or a specific type of tooth loss, oral surgery may be required. A visit to Riverside Dental for a thorough evaluation will help determined the best course of action.
